A $175 deposit is required to reserve your puppy and may be paid via Venmo, Apple Pay, or Cash App.

For local pickup, the remaining balance is due in cash at the time of pickup. Please plan accordingly, as we are unable to accept other forms of payment for the final balance.

About the Shih Tzu

Shih Tzus are small, affectionate companion dogs known for their sweet personalities, beautiful coats, and loving nature. They were originally bred to be companion dogs and are happiest when spending time with their families.

Size

Coat & Grooming

Shih Tzus have a beautiful coat that can grow long and requires regular grooming. Many families choose to keep their Shih Tzu in a shorter “puppy cut” because it is easier to maintain.

Regular brushing, bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and facial care help keep them comfortable and looking their best.

Exercise

Although Shih Tzus enjoy playing and going on walks, they do not require excessive exercise. Short daily walks, indoor playtime, and plenty of interaction with their family are usually a great fit for this breed.

Family Life

Shih Tzus were bred for companionship and love being close to their people. With proper socialization and supervision, they can make wonderful family pets and companions.

Because they are a small breed, young children should always be taught how to gently and safely interact with them.

The health and well-being of our puppies is very important to us. Each of our parent dogs has been health tested through Embark to help us make thoughtful and responsible breeding decisions.

Before going home, every puppy is examined by our licensed veterinarian and will receive their first vaccination, age-appropriate deworming, and microchip.

We want every puppy to begin their new journey with a healthy, happy start.

All of our dogs and puppies are lovingly raised in our home as part of our family. They receive daily care, attention, affection, and interaction in a warm, home-based environment.

For families who are unable to pick up their puppy locally, we offer flight nanny delivery. A professional pet nanny will personally travel with your puppy and meet you at the nearest major airport.

Flight nanny fees typically range from $500–$600, depending on your location.
